The project structure is shown in the figure below. The agricultural land to be used for the project are located a maximum of 3.5 km away from the Leibniz Innovationshof in Groß Kreutz and are not contiguous. The trial area has a size of approx. 20 ha.
The work carried out in DigiMix-PA is assigned to individual sub-projects (SP):
- SP1: Equipping the farm with precision land technology,
- SP2: Installation, operation and analysis of monitoring stations and sensor networks,
- SP3: Communication technology and fully automated documentation,
- SP4: Operational testing of different N fertilization strategies in on-farm trials
- SP5: Economic evaluation of the tested N-fertilization strategies,
- SP6: Evaluation of the climate efficiency of the tested N-fertilization strategies,
- SP7: Synthesis of the findings and derivation of measures for process optimization,
- SP8: Development of digital teaching and training methods and use of established formats for experience and competence building in regional agriculture.
